How to set up multi-blog with different user levels

    Hello

    I’m wondering if it’s possible to set up this blog structure on a single site:

    Blog 1: registered members can comment but not post; only editors can post
    Blog 2: registered members can comment and post. But their posts are moderated
    Blog 3: any registered member can post & comment

    What I’m not sure about is how a member registers and how their user levels are assigned. (I’m a WP newbie)
    Can it be set up that a member only registers once, and their user levels are assigned automatically for each blog?

    any advice would be appreciated

    Actually,could this be done through categories and sub-categories instead?
