Hey everyone, I know this isn’t a WordPress official theme, but maybe you can help me!

I’m using WPExplorer’s “ELEGANT” theme, which comes with a Portfolio feature, but I have no idea how to set it up… and i’ve try to post using portfolio, every time getting 404 error. how can i fix this issue ?
I’ve tried renaming a page and slug to portfolio-page, portfolio, portfolio-item, and nothing shows up.
Do I need to set up a tag for those or something?
    Demo theme : https://wpexplorer-demos.com/elegant/

    Thanks in advance!

for specific help with a paid theme, contact author for support.

if Custom Post Type is being created for portfolio, a reset of Permalinks MIGHT help.

    Thank you for replying Contentiskey.

it’s free and paid both theme available , i’m using free theme.
i’m using Custom Permalink Structure like as : domainname.com/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%.html

also i’m using WordPress SEO plugging. i did reset permlink as default and worpress seo plugging disable but till facing same 404 error. one thing here, when i’m trying to see post using (post status = Pending Review) “preview” option post is showing proper, but when its publishing then getting 404 error.

one more thing here, basic portfolio option, who comes with wordpress 4.0 are working fine.

i’m liking this theme so don’t want to change it, want to fix this issue.

@jankiiahir: You may be using the free version of Elegant, but it’s not a www.ads-software.com free theme. These forums are for free themes available in the WordPress theme directory at www.ads-software.com/themes/. Contact wpexploer.com for support. i can understand that you want to keep your theme–however, for instructions how to properly set up something specialized that is integrated in your chosen theme, the theme author/support them will be best place to contact.
