• Hey,
I just updated to 3.2.1 , how can I set up Static Home page? I don’t see the option in reading settings.

  • It’s still there in Settings -> Reading.

    All what I see is:
Blog Pages Show at most –
Syndication Feeds show the most recet –
For each article in a feed, show –
Encoding for pages and feeds –

    That’s it.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

I have the same issue and only 1 page created on my latest site. I deactivated the 2 plug-ins I have and no luck. I re-intalled the wp-admin and wp-incudes folders and still no luck.

Any other suggestions? Its driving me nuts that I cannot figure it out. I am using the Custom Community theme.

As for the new question (it’s usually better to start a new topic): I think the option is hidden until you have at least two pages created. This could help if you haven’t read it already:

Thanks Big Bagel. It is the simple things that slip by! I had pages in draft.
