How to set up vendor to customer direct messaging system

Hi Higor,

Unfortunately,the BuddyPress is not compatible with the WC-Marketplace as we have to integrate the private message system with respect to individual vendors.

But WCMp comes with the a widget named “WCMp Product Vendor’s Info” and supports a plugin named “Product Enquiry” which is somehow fulfilling this requirement. However, we also understand that these widget and plugin are not that efficient like any private message system, so we have planned for private message module but coming up with the same would take time.

Thanks a lot i managed to install, Product Enquiry which seems to do the trick. However for some reason instead of the vendor receiving the (Message) via email the message is going directly to the admin.

Do you know how to fix this issue by any chance?
I will try doing it myself before you reply and if i figure it out i’ll update y’all.

Hello @dualcube any chance on helping with this. btw i am not using the Product Enquiry from woothem i am using this one: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/product-enquiry-for-woocommerce/

Please note @sweetlife123 that the WC-Marketplace is compatible with the WooThemes’ Product Enquiry Form plugin. Hence, if you will try to use any other plugin then obviously it will look tricky and messaging system will not work properly.

Last question, would it be possible for me to accept payment via other payment gateway such as stripe and still payout vendors to their Paypal or must we also use Paypal to accept payment before we could payout our vendors?

Let me help you with your query @sweetlife123. You can use any payment gateway while accepting payment from the customer be it PayPal, Stripe or any other payment gateway supported by the WooCommerce.

But for paying the vendors their earning you can either use PayPal or Bank Transfer.
