• Hi,

I apologize, but I’m completely new to WordPress, and I’ve run into a roadblock in development. I realize this is probably a simple, basic thing to do, but it’s really stumping me.

How would I go about creating a page just like the one shown here:
    https://www.john-terry.net/index.php

It would seem a Google News feed is used to automatically create each post. For the life of me, I just can’t figure out how to do this!

If someone could kindly explain how this is done, what plugin/widget/code/magic/whatever is used to achieve it, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Justin

    Anyone? ??

I doubt that you are still hanging around hoping for an answer – but maybe? I looked at that site – It is sparse in the html, so I’m guessing that it is done by hand, more or less.

Take a look at the google news plugin. It does a good job of the basic things.

Because I cannot get the filter to work for me, I came back to this forum to see if there are ways to get around that situation – and came across your message.

If your filter is simple, I think you’ll find that plugin great.

WP-O-Matic or some such is the name of a “plugin” which will read rss feeds and put them in as articles for you. I will look at that next, for me, if I can’t get the filter to work on the google news plugin.

Anyway, give that a try – it’s pretty nice..

    Hi,

    Please refer these:

    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/google-news-sitemap-generator/

You can call XML code of the google news feed into the post…

    Thanks,

    Shane G.
