How to share website content to Facebook

  • Hey everyone, my name is Erin and I am new to WordPress. The problem I am having is that when I attempt to share content from my website to my Facebook Page, I receive a white empty pop-up box that does not allow me to share content ( there is nothing in the box, it is blank ). I am able to share from my personal profile however.

    The other problem I am having is that when I copy the URL of my WordPress post into the post field on my Facebook Page, the set thumbnail for my FB post is the logo for my site.

    Is there a way to set a specific picture for a WordPress post without setting a featured image, so that when I copy the URL into the Facebook post field it will call my chosen photo instead of my Logo. If not, can I set a featured image without it showing on the WordPress post anywhere.
