How to SHORTEN number of words showing in RSS feed

  • Greetings!

    I’m trying to SHORTEN the length of the content that shows up on the RSS feed widget in my sidebar.

    But, there is not option to do this. The only thing I see is “show content” or “don’t show content.”

    Any advice? Thanks!
