    Hi Sayontan

First of all, i would like to say thank you for your plugin.
Its really helps the work of my personal blog.

But a problem confused me a lot about the function after i click the photo.
Please read my page as i provided the link.

I would like to arrange a photos in a table like
    -a- or -b-
two or four photos in line horizontally.
but it links the photo to the Flickr page.
I want to show a photo in a slide container
    -c- or -d-
instead of the link to Flickr page directly.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Not following you – what you have in “a” or “b” are not from Photonic. Shouldn’t you be asking the developer of that plugin for how to link it to a lightbox?

    Thank you Sayontan your reply.

-a,b- is a example layout what i want.
I would like to ask any option or method to arrange -c- layout in a line (not a justify grid) and show it in a slide box.

    or

as you said any simple method import the Flickr photos and link to photonic lightbox?

English is not my mother tongue, please excuse any errors on my post.
I am trying my best to say what i am saying. (:_:)

I am happy a Photonic have a various style of grip, like:
    1.Justified Grid
    2.Masonry
    3.Mosaic
but those photos comes with different layout.

I only want my photos arrange simple as a table (like Square Grid)
but in rectangle photo shape. Like a table one by one (example -b-),
the photos can enlarges it to lightbox.

No worries – please don’t apologize for that.

If Flickr is your source, why not use the square grid with a different thumbnail size? The default thumbnail is 75px × 75px, but if you pick a different size, such as “Small, 240px on the longest side” (corresponds to size code m), that will give you a simpler square grid.

Yes, Flickr is my source and this is the reason i love to use Photonic Plugin.
finally i reach to the page -(Square Grid), this is the most i want format.

    1.Number of columns in output – i put (2) or (4).
    -like example -a-/-b-
    but
2.Thumbnail size – i only can set 100/240/320 px on longest side
Can i amend it by css or other method ?

    One more thing
why the lightbox always play automatically ?

    Plugin Author Sayontan Sinha

    (@sayontan)

I would propose that you leave the columns to be auto. That way, if your image is 320px wide, but someone is seeing it on a mobile, they will see only one image in a row (or if your image is 240px, they will likely see 2 images in a row on a mobile). If you set the number of columns to 2 or 4, on mobile devices things will look really tiny, which is often not a desirable experience.

The 3 layouts that correspond to 100px on the longest side, 240px on the longest side or 320px on the longest side will give you rectangular images. I would suggest that you don’t do anything to change their size, because again, on mobile devices you will run into issues.

I believe you have two lightbox plugins – one from Photonic, and another from another source. While Photonic is not affecting other images, the second plugin is affecting Photonic images. You will have to either disable that plugin, or work with the developer of that plugin to ensure that it does not interfere with Photonic galleries.

I had another issue now … hehe

I want to use another (Simple lightbox) plugin as my blog slider container but with Photonic elements.

Do i just select Generic settings > Inbuilt Lightbox libraries > None and
put a URLS into Non-bundled Lightbox JS blank box ?

How does it work or where can i find the link of the lightbox ?

Non-bundled only works for FancyBox 2 and Strip – those are scripts that I cannot bundle with Photonic because they are not GPL-compatible.

Trying to get another lightbox to run for Photonic’s galleries may require you to change code (it depends on the lightbox script). For that sort of a situation you will use “None” as your lightbox in Photonic.

Note that I cannot provide you support for integrating a different lightbox script – that is beyond my scope.

    Thank you for your advise.

Another issue want to know the advise from you –

How can i change the Slider screen – Main image size
to around 1200-1300px, 1024 and 1600 not good for my idea.
I want the image size showing like the pic of train title “yayh”.

Sorry, I am not following you.

Photonic will pull the sizes that are available for the image, based on what you have selected. If you have picked a size that is not available, Photonic will automatically try to pull the next largest image. For the image you referenced, the size shown is 1600px × 1060px;. This is what Photonic shows in the first gallery (the fifth image is that of the train). If you want a different size, pick “Original” – it will pick the largest available size. I think right now you have picked “Large, 1600px on the longest side”.

The other galleries are not built using Photonic, so they are showing other sizes, depending on what you have specified for them. In the gallery where the title says “yah!!!” you have picked a size of 1024px.

    Thread Starter block09

    (@block09)

Why the Photonic gallery slider box showing image with 800px width only instead of 1024? I have picked a size that is 1024px and the “yah” one seems bit bigger than Photonic. I have not specified the “yah” one, but the photonic seems not using 1024px its only showing 800px now. I have picked a width to 1024px but it seems not work.
