how to show ads on homepage only in widgets

hello all i am trying to show ads on homepage only . i am inserting it on widget and theme setting (which allows to add ads from setting) i am using gameleon theme
i was tryed this code
<?php if (is_home()) {

} ?>

but it dont working ??
<?php if(is_home() && !is_paged()):?>write text here<?php endif;?>
this code dont working too ??
i also tryed wordpress plugin widget logic but when i put ads on it. it sayes 404 error..
can you help me and give me right code???
