How to show breadcrumb just according to permalink?

  • I choose multiple categories when posting the posts. However breadcrumb navxt cannot select permalinks as breadcrumb trail. It selects the random categories which I choose while posting.

    How can I make it only choose trail according to permalinks?

    While it may seem random, there is a method to how Breadcrumb NavXT picks a term hierarchy when a post (of any post type) is a member of multiple hierarchies. This behavior can be overridden using the bcn_pick_post_term filter. If you don’t want to write your own filter, you can use a plugin such as Order Bender or Breadcrumb NavXT Paths (includes Order Bender’s functionality) that allow you to set a “preferred term” for each post.
