If you have correctly registered the custom taxonomy https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Taxonomies#Custom_Taxonomies then that should work https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Template_Hierarchy#Custom_Taxonomies_display

I registered correctly, its viewing all taxonomy term in backend,
adding new post in it.

but when i clicked on term [ terms in my sidebar using wp_list_categories( ‘taxonomy=topic&hide_empty=0&title_li=&orderby=id’ ); ]

it redirect to me on
https://localhost/sitename/?taxonomy=Topic&term=employee-motivation

not on taxonomy.php

and show 404 not found page

Thats interesting. Its redirecting you to the right location (given you don’t have pretty permalinks enabled) but the 404 error suggests the term is empty but it is not. Try removing any taxonomy-{taxonomy-name}.php files just leave taxonomy.php and see what happens.

I have to change %postname% in param links,

But for categories its working fine dear.

If pretty permalinks are working for all pages except https://localhost/sitename/?taxonomy=Topic&term=employee-motivation then you have a problem somewhere.

Do I need to make settings or any changes for that?
