How to show different theme on BBpress and buddypress root pages

    The way I’d recommend doing this is to set up a dummy site with custom permalinks and do some testing on various URL permutations. Then move that into BuddyPress or BBPress. Also keep in mind that BuddyPress does have a way of having custom looks for different groups, so you might want to use some of the native features as well.
