My Problem : I solved the “hellip” problem showing up in the captions via a post in the support form for this plugin.

What I want it to do is show the FULL CAPTION … not the short version with ellipse.

Is there a way I can tweak the php file to show the full caption text? Greatly appreciated!

BWT — this is one of the easiest Instagram plugins to customize via CSS … at least for me!

    Thanks for a great plugin!!

  • Under widget advanced settings just put in 10000 words and will always display the full text.

Unfortunately that did not work. You only get the advanced setting for Slider mode. I am using Thumbnail no borders. You do not get to choose the caption lenth.

If this changes in future updates, I will come back to this plugin as it is easy to use and easy to customize in my stylesheet. It was an inconvenience to have to go in and adjust the code in the plugin files itself to get rid of the “hellip” issue in the shortened caption, but I am comfortable to change that.

IF there is a way to change the caption amount from 100 to 10000 for Thumbnails, pass it on and I will be able to use this plugin.

    Thanks.
