How to show navigation arrows outside the carousel

Hello, the plugin is awesome and I am using the carousel one in a site. I modified the styling with CSS but I couldn′t make the navigation arrows to show outside it! Right now, the navigation arrows are showing inside and over the images, as in the original style, but we want to put the arrows outside!
