How to show summary post on homepage but full post on second

Hello all. (yes, I’m new to WP)

Using the excerpt vs. content tag, I’ve been able to control my homepage to show only a summary of my post. Unfortunately, this is also controlling the second page as well that should be showing the full post.

Any advice is appreciated.
