    Hello @doctorbr

I’m sorry, but the drop downs do not work in the off canvas menu due to some limitations with touch devices which can break things in the process. It will be required to add a manual link to the off canvas menu, if you require a direct logout link

The format should be something like this – https://example.com/wp-login.php?action=logout

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks.

    Hello @cteduard

How do I add the link manually?

The available options do not change when I am in Tablet / mobile Mode and Computers Mode. Changes made in Tablet / mobile Mode affect Computers Mode

    Tablet Mode

    Tablet Mode

    Computer Mode

    Computer Mode

If I use the “Link” option in Tablet Mode the modal does not appear on the computer!

Is that right or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello @doctorbr

You can add it as a menu element, or as a link inside a HTML element. Have you given these a try?

    Thanks.

    Hello @cteduard

I needed the HTML element to add a Google login button:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-add-buttons-and-how-to-synchronize-the-name-changed-to-the-google-account/

So I added your link to the navigation menu as a custom link, but it also appears in the modal on computers. ??

Please, what else can I try?

P.S. If possible, I would like to use the standard link from Blocksy, as it redirects the user to the same page. Your link not. ??

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello @doctorbr

I understand. Though, as you’re using the free version of Blocksy, your options will be naturally limited. I’m afraid that I do not have an alternative solution to give to you here. You may want to look at Blocksy Pro as it has many more features, such as multiplying header elements – https://creativethemes.com/blocksy/docs/header-elements/header-builder-elements/#duplicate-elements ??

    Thanks.

    Hello, @cteduard

Eduard, what is the HTML code that keeps the user on the same page after they click the “Log Out” item?

My question is if one more HTML element would really solve the problem. Or if the only way would be to duplicate the “log out” item from the modal to large screens. ??

But, as current element account settings do not change when selecting “mobile” or “computer”, I have the impression that an update is needed on Blocksy …

If so, please make available the “log out” item for mobile devices as well. It makes no sense to have the option only for large screens. ??

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello @doctorbr

But we already have all the needed tools to get this working in our Pro package. I think that’s pretty fair, as the free version will be naturally limited for any product out there. ??

And yes, you should be able to add anything that you want using HTML elements.

If you wish to redirect users after logging out, you can use a simple PHP function, with more details available here – https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/58036/logout-redirect-to-home-page

    Thanks.

    Hello, @cteduard

Someone posted about the element account in the Facebook group:

When using the “Account” block in the menu or mobile menu – if you use the drop-down – the account block (link) becomes unusable.

Is there a way to preserve the use of the account dropdown but switch it to use a link in mobile view? Otherwise, once my users login they can’t actually access the drop-down and any of their account options.

    https://web.facebook.com/groups/blocksy.community/posts/1688769028616215/

Please explain the problem to developers. As the element account is currently it is impossible to use it! ??

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello @doctorbr

The developers are aware of these requests already. However, it will not be possible to implement a drop down feature inside the mobile menu as there are a lot of other implications in doing so. It can break other things in the process since touch devices do not have a hover state. I’m sorry, but this really cannot be changed at the moment.

    Thanks.
