How to show the tax line if VAT is 0

    Hi,

    IF VAT is OK, then Tax line disappears. How to show the tax line if VAT is 0?

    Sorry for a late reply. I’ve just checked on my test server and you are correct – VAT line is hidden when it’s zero – will be working on adding this feature in next plugin version.

    One note though – if I set Display tax totals option in “WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Tax options” to “As a single total” (i.e. instead of “Itemized”), then tax line is not disappearing even when it’s zero. However, it shows “Tax $0.00” (instead of “VAT $0.00”). Could you please confirm that it’s the same on your servers (and maybe that’s good enough solution for you)?

    Maybe it’s due wp fastest cache, but even when I set it to “As a single total” in woocommerce settings, it doesn’t show the tax amount until I manually refresh the checkout page.

    What files to exclude from caching so it doesn’t affect your plugin?

    Hi @webg,

    I’m not 100% sure, but as far as I understand the checkout page should already be in your caching plugin exceptions list, so I don’t think that caching has anything to do with that. Probably the easiest way would be to temporarily disable caching plugin and check if that makes any difference. By the way, I’m already working on adding “Always show zero VAT” option to the plugin, so it would work with “Itemized” option also. Will be releasing this new plugin version in the next couple of days.

    I deactivated the plugin but no changes, I’ll wait for the new release!

    Hi @webg,

    As promised, we’ve just released new plugin version 1.4.0. After updating you will find new “Always show zero VAT” checkbox option in “WooCommerce > Settings > EU VAT > Frontend Options”.
