This is done by creating a “placeholder” field. You can do this on the Manage Database Fields page. The default value is what the field will display, in the case of that example, the default value was ‘?’ you can look up text symbols that you can use, or you can use a word or phrase. Set the “display column” value of the field so that it will show up in the list.
Then in the plugin settings, under the “list” tab, assign the “single record link field” to you placeholder field. Make sure your single record page is properly set up.
