How to step by step – Figures doesn't match

  • Hi,
    I’m a bunch of questions with this plugin. Could someone answer them?

    1) I run the index and these were he results:
    – Indexed = 14090 images
    – Unreferenced used = 18582 images
    – Invalid attachment = 16593 images

    Question: how are the 3 values above possible when I’m only having 7998 images uploaded?

    2) I deleted all the Unreferenced used images and re-run the index
    – Indexed = 14090 images
    – Unreferenced used = 0 images
    – Invalid attachment = 29194 images

    Question: still the same amount of indexed files having deleted tons of them?
    Question: Why do I have now even more invalid attachment images? Could I delete them all as well?

    Sorry about asking so many questions but I think it’s me, not the plugin, who doesn’t know how to make it work properly.

    by the way. Where are my images :O?

    I deleted the unreferenced but now there is nothing into wp-content/images but a handful of files like this “pmxi_chunk_0_1392829657”

    Did you ‘find’ your images? I checked your website and still see the image urls linking to /wp-content/images/.

    Of course you are right about an better description of the various terms used in the plugin. I will add those.
