  • Hey @eonter,

Unfortunately, if disabling Wordfence doesn’t resolve the issue I don’t think it’s going to be responsible for it.

Can you share a list of all other plugins currently active?

Can you please try deactivating all other plugins to test for a conflict and narrow down the cause?

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    hi Gerroald,

Thank you for your reply. Here you can see all plugins that Im using https://ibb.co/NVrmhYv
    This is a theme https://themeforest.net/item/uncode-creative-multiuse-wordpress-theme/13373220

Are you sure deactivation of wordfence stop it from blocking other users? In my options I dont have ticked “Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation “.

I cant really spot the problem by deactivating plugins, nobody from the support will test it with me live, they are busy …

    Thanks for your help!

    Hey @eonter,

If Wordfence is disabled it won’t be able to block them.

I don’t see anything glaring in the list of plugins you shared. You might find out what their IP is, then check with your host to make sure they aren’t blocking them for some reason.

    Thanks!

    Gerroald

    Hi @eonter,

To add onto what Gerroald said, if Wordfence is deactivated, no one should be blocked. (Even if you didn’t have Delete tables and data on deactivation checked off)

However, if you have a caching plugin, it is possible that the 403 was from Wordfence, but it’s still showing long after you disabled Wordfence. I looked through the list of plugins too and couldn’t find any caching plugins.

Another place you can check is within the .htaccess, to see if you have any rules set up that would generate a 403 error for the login page. (Note that the 403 error in the screenshot looks like it was generated by the server and not by Wordfence)

    Dave
