How to stop bots from creating user accounts?

    I have enabled recaptcha on the “register”page of woocommerce (my account) and still getting many spam registrations.
    What can be done to solve this? Tried all plugins and still no solution.

    Its been a daily task to delete the spam users.

    P.S : 1) manual approval of user accounts is not feasible for me.

  • You need to add captcha to the general WordPress registration as well. In fact, bots usually use this channel and ignore the Woocommerce registration (so you may try to undo it not to bother normal users).

    Even with the “captcha/recaptcha” i still get the spam registers.

    If Captcha is not helping, you may need to consider a premium plugin that offers a service to help prevent spam account registrations.
