How to stop certain posts from appearing in slider

  • I like the slider very much, but I don’t want all of my latest posts to appear in there.

    For example, it would be nice to exclude posts from a certain category from appearing in the slider.

    Is there a way of doing this?

  • Just categorise them as a post name (in the post edit screen) and tell the theme options (Home Page settings) to refer only to that category in the slider/carousel
