how to stop daily automatic email notifications about update

  • I keep getting emails from all my wp sites
    Howdy! Your site has been updated automatically to 3.8.2
    when I log in.. the site isn’t updated.
    When I hit the update button, it seems to update but doesn’t actually update.
    I continue getting emails daily from all my sites. This has been going on for over a week now.
    please help
