Hi, I love the plugin (5 stars) but the only thing I don’t like is that when someone scrolls down to the bottom of the page the fixed widgets cover the footer. Is it possible to have the fixed widgets go behind the footer or have an X button so people can close the fixed widget when it gets in the way?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Marion,

thanks for reaching out and providing great feedback!

You can use the options under Appearance > Fixed Widget Options to fine-tune the behavior.

“Margin bottom” would prevent the fixed widget from being too low on your site.
“Stop ID” allows you to define the footer element so that the fixed widget is not scrolling over it. In your case, try footer-widgets.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks for getting back to me.

I tried your suggestion but it didn’t work for me. Maybe because I have more than one fixed widget.

However, I have now fixed the problem by reducing the vertical spacing between the widgets and combining two of the widgets using HTML, thus making the overall widgets block shorter.

    Hello,

Apologizes for using the same support chat thread. I am having the same issue with the fixed widget (covering the footer). Please what exactly did you do to solve the problem? Here is my site and an example when you scroll to the bottom: https://www.whatsdalatest.com/health-and-fitness/. I would like the fixed widget to stop before the footer of the website. Please any assistance is highly appreciated. Thanks.
