I have disable JSON support as i don’t need it.
Your plugin make a lot of request to wp-json in Admin backend

    GET /wp-json/wp/v2/ HTTP/1.1
    GET /wp-json/yoast/v1/statistics HTTP/1.1
    etc...

Is there a way to stop it?
    thanks

  • Hi,

We would like some more information.

    A. Are you using the free Yoast plugin or the premium? Is it v9.5?

    B. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    C. Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.0.3? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider.?Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast.?This guide explains more:?https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/.

It’s the free Yoast plugin, and everything else is updated (WP 5.0.3).

Is it normal that your plugin try to request a GET through wp-json on backend?
If i disable your plugin, all this GET request disappear…

I dont’ want that Yoast try to connect to REST API is this is not really required.

Yoast SEO uses the REST API for certain features. Disabling features that your site is not utilizing may help reduce the workload.
