How to stop <br/> from being added after images?

Im using lightbox and imagemanager plugins, and I keep getting br added after my images so that they wont site next to each other.

Ive already turned off the wysiwyg editor, as well as unchecking “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”. But I still get <br/> after the images I post from the imagemanger. I at first thought it was imagemanger adding them, I did find some code in the plugin that looked as though it inserted a <br? so I removed it, the plugin still works but the breaks are still there.

Any ideas?
