How to STOP scanning in the background

  • Although I have completed scans of posts and pages, I have noticed that the plugin continues to scan in the background as evident in the “Broken Link Notifier – Results” page.

    In addition I noticed that there are approx 50 guests online visiting different posts and pages, each with a different IP address. Could it be that these are scans initiated by the Broken Link Notifier plugin?

    How do I stop the scans taking place especially when I have not initiated them on the “Multi-Scan” page?
