• I had the cialis / viagra links in blog posts.

Just removed the links using the html version of the post.

Also updated to latest version of wordpress.

Anything else I can do to stop this happening?

    Thanks Doug

  • Use the Askimet plugin.

Akismet works for comments and from what it sounds like your own site has either been hacked or the server you are on has been hacked. When the links are inserted into your blog posts it is a very strong indication of hacking.

    1. Dont use admin as the username for your account with administrator priveleges
    2. Use a secure password that has lower and uppercase letters with either numbers/symbols
    3. Check your hosting provider, if you’re on a $5/month hosting plan and another site on the server your site is on gets hacked the hacker could gain access to your site
    4. Check out https://codex.www.ads-software.com/FAQ_My_site_was_hacked
