How to stop tags from displaying at the bottom of posts

It must be on your theme’s single.php or single-loop.php file. Make sure you’re editing the loop of your theme.

I’ve looked in the single.php and loop.php files but tags are not mentioned at all.

I’ve tried adding both of these to the CSS file (everywhere I could think of – including the Loop, but to no avail:

.tags {
display: none;
}

See this line of code from your loop.php:

include (TEMPLATEPATH . '/framework/includes/blog/b1.php');

I would guess that’s where the tags are included in the template.

So should I delete that whole line from the loop.php? Or add something in?

Ooooh no. You need to open up the template to which it is referring. It’s inside there that you’ll find the function calls to list tags. So the templates are in framework/includes and are called b1.php, b2.php etc etc.

Is there following line in the b1.php, b2.php or other b files?:

<?php the_tags( '<p>Tags: ', ', ', '</p>'); ?>

So something similar to this?

Can you upload those files too on the pastebin for us to see them?

My partner extracted these from the FTP files for me. I couldn’t see tags mentioned in the b files but could see it in the s files, if that helps?

Yup!! That’s it. Remove following lines from s1.php or s2.php (depends on which style you’re using or just delete from both files):

<?php the_tags( '<p class="tags"><span class="tags-title">Tags</span>?? ', '? ', '</p>'); ?>
