how to stop worpress resizing images?

    Normally when you upload an image to a WordPress site, it creates several differently sized versions of the image automatically. Themes can define custom image sizes as well, increasing the amount of images generated on your server. for example my theme, generates 10 images with each image I upload…

    I installed the “Dynamic Image Resizer” plugin for this problem, but it stops all the additional images to produce.

    my theme need to cut just one image to 10 other images as a featured image but it cut all the images I upload.

    for each image, I need the big one and the middle one to put them in posts, not more!

    could you please suggest me a plugin that let me choose with image to cut, wich image not to cut?
