• I don’t update to the latest WP versions and have the auto update turned off. But after a month or two, it will update on its own.
I purposely want to wait until two updates have been done (for example: I want to wait until 6.3.2 is released).

This keeps me from having issues and dealing with erroneous features (I hear this update changes links settings default to open in same tab and it’s about 5 clicks to go through advanced settings to change it — what a nightmare, do these developers even use WordPress?? LOL )

So, I wait a few months to update, BUT WP is updating on its own after awhile. How do I stop it from doing an update until I choose to do it?
    Thanks!!

It may be that your host is updating your site. Check with their support to see if this is something they do.

Just checked with host – BigScoots – and they do not update WP.
So… no idea how that is happening.
