how to swap images in posts?

  • Is there a way to change images being used in Posts without any interruption in what the user of a site sees?

    If you need to make a change in an image, then save it with the same name, same size, same img format, etc..then upload it, WP will add a 1 to the name..

    how can you switch the images and have WP and the site user be none the wiser?

  • It would take just seconds to edit the post and add a new image with a different name. If there were a user on that page, they would do a couple of refreshes and everything would be back to normal. If you are using a cache the user probably wouldn’t even see anything happening.

    With plugins like bxslider or soliloquy maybe
