• I am stuck in the middle of a non solve-able problem , I searched all over the internet and didn`t find a solution for it.

    >>>>>> here it is

I have a website that consists of two subdomains networked using WordPress multisite

    ae.example.com

    sa.example.com

Each subdomains contains the same blogs (posts, taxonomies …etc) , so each post has the same slug , but the different is the content on each post and the url (ae or sa).

I need to link the blogs (posts, taxonomies …etc) between each subdomain , using a subdomain switcher , so , when the visitor want to change from post “ABC” in the sa subdomain to the ae subdomain it should redirect him the same post which is “ABC”.

    Thank you

  • Who told you the problem was unsolvable?

Have you considered just adding a link on the page or post involved pointing to the same link on the opposite subdomain?

This site here should be able to help you create some PHP code to cause a redirect to the opposing site’s post or pages.

You might also think about installing a related links plugin and letting it reference your cross-posts if you’ll build them. short posts to reference those. And that could be done semi-automatically via RSS feeds even.

But the RSS feeds would be a different subject…
