Hi guys, I have a question and I would like to know if you can help me.

At this moment I have two catalogs on Facebook, one is through the Facebook pixel and the other is synchronized through the plugin. The point is that the pixel is not synchronizing the products while the plugin does, in the plugin catalog there are only 19 products and in the other 1,319. My root problem is that my store was approved on Instagram shopping. However, I can only use the 19 product catalog and not the 1,319 catalog. Is there any way to fix it?

I currently have the pixelyoursite plugin to use the facebook pixel

  • Hi @xthebhann,

It sounds like you are using this plugin to set up Facebook pixel on your site. Do you have a catalog set up using that plugin and another using Facebook for WooCommerce? Could you share why you’re using two different methods to connect your store to Facebook?

We have a guide here to help you resolve the two catalog issue. Once you have one catalog properly set up to sync between Facebook and WooCommerce, you should see all your products in Facebook.

If that doesn’t help, please share your system report with me. You can find it by going to WooCommerce > Status > Get system report and then click Copy for support to be able to paste it in your reply.

Hello! Thank you very much for your answer. Indeed I have the plugin installed, but it is not responsible for creating a catalog. What I did was create a catalog myself in the Facebook business manager and put “pixel” in the data source field. After this I installed the Facebook plugin for Woocommerce and it created a new catalog where all my products are.

How can I change the catalog of my store to the one that have all the products?

Also I try to change the data source but when I try to select the WooCommerce Integration
it says that I don’t have permission

Finally I try to follow your guide and now I’m getting Something went wrong when connecting to Facebook! Please try again.

    Hi @xthebhann

Finally I try to follow your guide and now I’m getting Something went wrong when connecting to Facebook! Please try again.

When you mention an error, is it this one here?

If so, then during the connection flow, please toggle the Manage your business to Active:

Let me know how you get on!

    Hi @xthebhann

Can you clarify more about what you mean when you say selecting categories to exclude? Do you mean under the Sync submenu – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/#section-5

    Thanks,

    Hey @xthebhann

Sorry about that – we’ve found a bug and this has been reported – https://github.com/facebookincubator/facebook-for-woocommerce/issues/1725

As this has been reported for the developers to look into, I’m going to mark this as Resolved.

    Thanks,
