How to tell if you pinged successfully

So, I just published my first post, and pinged about 30 sites. It took about 5 minutes to post, so I’m pretty sure that it was pinging, but the page that loaded had a bunch of PHP/mySQL errors related to Smart Update Pinger.

Is there anyway to tell if it actually pinged (I don’t want to ping the same post twice)?
