• Hi, Long time ago I modified the background color of my sidebar. Now I can’t remember how I did it. I found the style in the browser Inspect, but I cannot locate it in my file structure – mainly the stylesheet. I searched for the exact color- #d3dfe8 – and it didn’t come up in style.css. A little confused here! See screenshot below. Thank you!

  • Hi Chris. Over to the right of the style it shows where the style is located. It’s not in the stylesheet (like the .sidebar styles below it). If you click on the link it should take you to the Source pane and the line that contains the style. Maybe something loaded inline by a theme option?

Hi thank you – yes, turns out this was a setting in my theme options, which I must have overlooked because I swore I had to manually change via css. After a while I found it. Thank you for your help.
