How to Track Conversions on Google Ads Only When a JoinChat is Initiated?

Hi everyone,
We are currently running Google Ads campaigns and using JoinChat on our website to manage chats. The issue we are facing is that our conversion tracking is currently set to count a conversion when someone clicks the JoinChat button. However, this method is not very reliable for us, as it only tracks clicks, not actual chat interactions.
We would like to track conversions only when a user initiates a chat (i.e., they start a conversation), not just when they click the button.
Has anyone faced a similar issue or found a way to modify the Google Ads conversion tracking code to only count a conversion if a chat is launched? Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.

In order to have WhatsApp analytics you need to use the API and create your own analytics environment, read more here: (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/whatsapp/business-management-api/analytics/)
You can also choose to use an external service from a WhatsApp Business Solution Providers (BSP) to provide you with these statistics, we at Joinchat use Trengo.
