How to track media files (not in wp-content)?

Hi,

I changed the folder where media files are uploaded in, and moved it to the main directory so it become example.com/folder and everything work fine except one thing: Google analytics doesn’t track them, so when someone visit an image file (example.come/folder/image.jpg) I will never know except if I checked logs though the server one by one, so is there’s a way to solve such a problem?
