Hello,
I’m using your plugin on a website which Angular is also included (with web components).
I would like to track when a product page is visited with my Angular app (use of Methods Available in the Tracking API such as setReferrerUrl(), setEcommerceView() ..).
But the problem is that I don’t know how to link my e-commerce products to Matomo. I’m not using WooCommerce, and my products are stored in API that I have access (source code also). This problem prevents me to have statistics of product page visited, and actions like add to cart, payment…

Unfortunately, you’ll have to set the ecommerce tracking plan on your own.

We don’t need to link to your existing data: the ecommerce calls, such as setEcommerceView requires only labels that you probably have.

To set up a tag plan, there are some minimal actions to define. A good example is the WooCommerce tag plan embed in the plugin:

Hello @mattmary, thanks for your fast response.
I made the calls with the library ngx-matomo for Angular.
For example when an user go on a product page three calls are made :
- setReferrerUrl() with the current URL in parameter
- setEcommerceView() with the product ID, product name, product category, product price in parameters
- trackPageView() with the product name in parameter
The visit of the page is tracked and I can see it on the Matomo admin (Visits section).
But the product is not tracked : there is no data on the Matomo admin (E-Commerce section).
And I don’t know why….

Finally my calls were working fine. The data generated by the setEcommerceView() method is displayed only the day after its call on Matomo Plugin. This information was not written anywhere.
