How to transfer my expired domain’s content to a new one?

    I had a domain name and it got expired and now trying to renew it but one of those companies bought my domain name already and asking for 500$ for it which I won’t pay it. I still have the hosting accounting running but I am wondering can I transfer the content of my old website to a new domain? or it won’t work and if so, how can I do that?

    like would the links be broken or how everything going to work in that case
