    Hi @peterforensys,

These variables can’t be translated on your website itself, as this information (and their translated versions) is pulled from CookieDatabase.org.

If you’re a native speaker of this language and if you’re willing to contribute to the translations; please send us a message via support(at)complianz.io.

    Kind regards,

    Hi!

I’m not a native speaker but my site has a romanian language version so I need these strings to appear in romanian language, or at least in english language, but not in my primary language (hungarian) as now. But these strings like statistics are so basic that Google Translate can translate it perfectly. So if it is good for you, I can help with the translations of these basic words at least. But no, I am not a native speaker (Although my mom knows romanian language well ?? )

    Hi @peterforensys,

Romanian should be supported, could you try going to the wizard, consent, cookie descriptions and try synching again and use the language dropdown to enable Romanian? This should check Romanian translations, you can do this for service descriptions as well.

    regards Aert

    Hi @peterforensys,

I’ve just verified this, it doesn’t look like we currently have Romanian translations for the “Cookie purposes” such as: Functional, Marketing/Tracking, Preferences, Statistics (anonymous), Statistics

If you provide us with the Romanian translations for these variables, we will add them to CookieDatabase; so that they can be synced to your Cookie Policy (and other users that wish to use Romanian) afterwards.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Here you are:

Cookie purposes translation (EN – RO):

    Functional – Func?ional
    Marketing/Tracking – Marketing/Urm?rire
    Preferences – Preferin?e
    Statistics (anonymous) – Statistici (anonim)
    Statistics – Statistici

But the function of the cookies is still not in romanian most of the time, they fallback to my primary language instead. Like at Google Analytics cookies I showed here: https://ibb.co/DzFDK7s or even at Complianz cookies: https://ibb.co/9vV21FM

    Hi @peterforensys,

I will add those translations to the CookieDatabase shortly. Thanks!

I could not find a Romanian version of your Cookie Policy document, the attached link in your post redirects to the homepage of the site, so I assume that a Romanian version of this page may not exist on your website yet. (See: https://complianz.io/translate-legal-documents-to-multiple-languages-with-wpml/)

And please note that not all of the Cookie functions have a Romanian translation yet.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi!

Yeah the link I provided is not good. Currently this is where you can see the romainian version of our cookie policy page: https://dev.autosafety.hu/ro/informare-despre-cookie-uri/

This is our staging site. (On our live site the romanian language is not available yet, only for admins.)

    Hi @peterforensys,

    Your translations have been added!

You can navigate to Complianz > Wizard > Consent to perform another Cookie Scan, and after doing so, perform another Cookie Sync in Romanian at the Consent > Cookie descriptions section of the Wizard.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi!

It works, thank you! But the functionality of some cookies are still in my primary language (hungarian) instead of romanian: https://ibb.co/K5Wd3R5

I guess this is because these cookies have no romanian translations yet and they fall back to my the primary language which is hungarian.

It would even be good for me if these informations were in English.

    Hi @peterforensys,

When you create an English version of this page with your preferred translation plugin, and “Sync” the cookies in English under the Cookie Descriptions section of the Wizard upon doing so; that will make the English variant appear on the English page.

    Kind regards, Jarno
