How to translate item/items

    I have problem to translate item/items word which appears next to the number of items in cart (right hand side of menu bar).

    This word seems to be hard coded into Storefront theme (template-tags.php line 19). I can change it by editing file directly.

    Is there any other way to change it but editing above file?

    Direct editing is not good choice because it disappears after any theme upgrade. I use Boutique child theme and tried to copy modified file to it but to no avail.

    Any ideas?

    You can edit by using child theme. Make the same file path with folder on child theme and edit the file on child theme.

    If not work or you can not do it, let me know i will find the best way to help you.
