How to translate Strings – Rating Widget

    Hi Blaz,

    First of all, I would like to thank you for this useful plugin! I use it to rate posts of my website, but I need to translate the different messages shown. This website is fully localized and all plugins have to be translated to all languages offered. Could you explain how to do that? I just tried to translate the strings using Loco Translate but I can’t…

    Hi @microrruptor,

    thanks for reporting the issue. I checked and I noticed that I actually forgot to include the POT file for translations – well it’s there but it’s empty ?? However, I also have to slightly redesign the rating widget template for the translations to work on multilingual websites. I’ll start working on a patch but I’m really busy this week and then it’s Christmas. So, I guess I’ll have the patch ready in 10 days or so. Sorry for the waiting time and thanks for your patience ?? I’ll let you know when the update is out.

    Hi @microrruptor,

    I have just released version 2.1.1 to which I added the missing POT file for translations. Now you should be able to translate strings with Loco Translate. If you’ll use the plugin on a multilingual website don’t forget to enable “Multilingual website compatibility mode” in the settings. Then you just translate strings through Loco translate and everything should work fine. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to ask for support.

    Thanks! By the way, if you are also translating backend, you can send me the translation files and I’ll add them to the next version and give you credit for them ?? So far, I only have German translations.
