How to translate the switch using WPML

Those strings cannot be translated with WPML as it is handled via the plugin translation files itself. You can add the translation here and get it approved from WordPress translation moderators.

I just checked and other users have already translated the things I need, but the changes haven’t been approved yet. Some of them are like 11 months old.

You can follow up with the official translator on WordPress Translators Slack channel and ask them to approve your work. Please note that moderators should approve it to have it available.
