How to translate the theme?

  • Hello,
    I want to translate the theme to Dutch. How do I do this? I tried editing the .pot file in Poedit and upload the files to wp-content/languages/themes/kids-education/ as nl_NL.po and nl_NL.mo, but somehow I can’t get it to work yet.
    It seems to me I’ve done everything right, but did I miss something somewhere?

    try if it works if you copy the language files into the following folder:
    …\wp-content\languages\themes

    Hello,

    I tried that, but it doesn’t work yet. I don’t understand this, I’ve tried many things but nothing seems to work… ??

    I now also added in wp-config: define (‘WPLANG’, ‘nl_NL’);
    I set the site language in WP already, but this line wasn’t in wp-config for some reason.
