Hi, I read the pinned post “Why are email addresses not encoded?” so I contacted my theme’s support.

They replied: the Avada theme does output its content through the default function the_content() > https://prntscr.com/cx9sxd

The email addresses are entered through the WordPress admin interface and not hard-coded in theme or plugin files. Also, I am verifying that the addresses are not encoded with “View Source” and not “View Selection Source” in Firefox and Chrome.

    Please advise how to troubleshoot.

    Thank you.

    Is the plugin enabled?

On the Plugins page under “Email Address Encoder” it reads “Deactivate | Edit” – so I’m assuming it’s enabled.

I found out what the issue is (sort of). Email Address Encoder is working. The email address that I saw not encoded somehow got into a meta tag in the head.

So, everything is fine and I apologize for the trouble. But maybe this could help solve someone else’s mystery in the future.

    Thank you.

    Hi @ruauu2,
I use Avada too. I tested the Plugin with one address, and it worked. That was right after installation. But when I added two more email addresses in the same page, the new addresses didn’t get encoded? Do you have any idea what I might be doing wrong?
