How To Turn Off Comments For Real?

Hey Everyone,

Thanks to any and every person who helps out on these forums!

In WP, I already went to Settings > Discussion and unchecked “Allow people to post comments on new articles”.

I also checked “Automatically close comments on articles older than _ days”. And I set _ to 0.

But I still see the option to comment on some pages: the homepage and two other pages:

Any ideas?
