How to turn off featured image loading on top?

Agree with @marcefx. This causing a duplication of the image and needs to be disabled as an option. The featured image is usually in the article anyway.

Agreed with those above. We are preparing to use PageFrog on our customers sites, but need to remove/disable the featured image like the others have mentioned.

I agree, it would be nice to turn off the featured image. I have never seen amp used. But instead of using the featured image, it would be nice to have the option of a site wide image. A header for amp post and pages?

We are currently working on the ability to customize the feature image, including the ability to turn it off so it will be ready in our next update very soon!

We just released an update to the plugin that prevents duplicate images from showing as the featured image! You can also disable featured images on AMP altogether under Mobile Formats > Settings at the bottom of the page you’ll find a checkbox.

It is OK in AMP but in IA it is still duplicated and shown

This has been resolved for AMP but not yet for IA. We’ll be applying the same fix for IA in our upcoming update! We’ve been releasing major updates every 2-3 days, so you can expect a fix for this soon.

AMP and IA operate quite differently, so often times their issues are resolved separately.

Is there an update on a fix for removing of the featured image in FB IA as suggested above?
