i have a requirement to use cloudflare but they have limits on upload file size based on the plan. One solution is to create chunks from the file. Any chance this can be implemented on forminator?

    Hi @albgen

    I hope you’re well today!

Have you tried switching Upload field to “Multiple” mode and then in its settings tab switching upload method to AJAX?

If not, give it a try, please, it might help and should let you upload as big file as the site/server itself allows.

    Take a look here, please:

    Kind regards,

thank’s for the info. i tried but seems nothing changes. At the end is always one huge request so i still get the 413 request entity too large.

Only if there are chunked requests, then can work.

    Hi @albgen

    Thanks for response!

In that case, I’m afraid, I don’t really have solution for you. Unfortunately, there’s no way to “customize” Forminator like that out of the box and it would require significant changes in plugins code (basically, a complex new feature).

A workaround that I could suggest would be e.g. to put ask users on the form to upload such files e.g. to their Google Drives or other 3rd-party file storage and instead of using upload filed on the form, use simple text filed where they could provide link to such file instead.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

thank you Adam for you time,

Yes, we did informed the user with a text that if the file is bigger than 100mb to use a Google Workspace or any other cloud solution and paste the url.
