How to upload avatar?

    Hi,there!

    I’m not sure whether EDD provide the avatar upload feature, because I’m using DGWork theme, the account page includes avatar, you can see their demo page https://demo.themevan.com/dgwork/account/

    The theme author told me that free version of EDD doesn’t include avatar upload feature, so user can only update the avatar from gravatar.com, is that true?

    Is there possible to include the avatar upload feature in the future? Or is there any extensions can do that?

    Yes, that is true. The avatar will be pulled from Gravatar based on the email address used for the account. There is no way to set a specific avatar for a user account in EDD. It’s a bit outside of the scope for EDD.

    My advice would be to find a plugin dedicated specifically to setting user avatars. I’m sure there are plenty in the WordPress plugin directory. It’s not something we have plans to add to EDD core, though.
